by a Kenwood TR-7850 which is hooked up to a Cushcraft Ringo Ranger II
that is missing the radial kit (so it's really like a Ringo Ranger).
The antenna is mounted approximately 20' in the air at my house in the
south part of San Jose, CA. The radio hears local stations well and
does OK with distant stations. The same radio is also used as an
Echolink node. If someone is connected via Echolink, you will not hear
them on the audio stream, however that may be changed later. |
